Ooops (Riddler w/ Mad Hatter)

While Jervis and Edward had never really gotten along sine the cocky red-head had become one of the Rogues, they hadn’t really interacted much and spent their time separated. In all honesty there was something about the blonde that unnerved Nigma, and he did his best to keep a sizable distance. That however didn’t help him when Joker decided to break out of Arkham, everyone either killing staff or making a break for it like Nigma was doing, though he didn’t make it past the front gates. A sinister giggle was his only alert before he felt a light tap on the side of his head and his muscles froze in place, everyone else running past towards freedom.

”Come now March Hare, it’s time for us to go~!” He heard Jervis giggle, though his voice had a darker tone than it had before. Nigma tried not to follow the short Brit down a tunnel into the sewers, but he had no control over his body and within moments they had successfully escaped and were well on their way towards Jervis’s hideout. Once they had arrived to an abandoned factory that was Jervis’s main base of operations Edward barely had time to realize the mind control card had been lifted from his head before a knife plunged into his chest up to the hilt. Jervis only smiled in a way that was reminiscent of Joker, watching with delighted eyes as Edward fell to his knees and gasped quietly for air, one hand resting on the knife’s handle as if to either pull it out and keep it inside his body to prevent anymore trauma. Blood began to seep through the green suit jacket as Jervis gently lay a hand on top of Edward’s hair, a slightly psychotic smile crossing his face as he began to recite from Alice in Wonderland in a soothing voice, as if comforting Nigma. The younger male stay silent as to not upset Jervis, though ever so often gasps of pain would escape his mouth as tears of pain made their way down his cheeks, some blood escaping the corners of his mouth when he coughed in pain. This went on for a good hour or so before Jervis finally pulled out a phone he had stolen and texted someone, Edward in too much pain to notice as he continued to stare at the opposite wall like he had been doing. He finally began to notice his surroundings when Harley Quinn showed up with a bag under her arms, a thin smile on her lips as she got to work removing the knife and stitching him up.

“You should probably stop making fun of him.” She whispered into his ear, “He might do something worse next time.” Edward could only nod, leaning against her as she helped him stand, her things neatly packed away by a smiling Jervis.

“Do come visit soon!” He waved cheerfully, grin on his face as he watched them drive away in Harley’s car. Edward could only shiver and wait for the factory to disappear from view.
